According to what I have read it is hard to get accurate magnesium levels in blood tests, therefore it is known as the “invisible deficiency”. Magnesium deficiency symptoms include but are not limited to: anxiety, restless leg syndrome, high stress, mood swings, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, muscle cramping, muscle pain, eye twitching, headaches, depression, heart palpitations and the list goes on! Stats show that 80% of Americans are deficient in Magnesium. Magnesium also helps our body absorb Calcium and Vitamin D. Ancient Minerals was made so that people could take high doses of Magnesium in trans-dermally (through the skin) without provoking diarrhea and without going through the intestines... Ok, so how is trans-dermal magnesium used? Trans-dermal magnesium is applied topically, using either Magnesium Oil, Magnesium Gel, Magnesium Lotion or Magnesium Bath Salts and we are lucky enough to have them all! Let me know if you want to feel the different textures, I have them all in my room (except the bath salts) and like them for different areas of the body and reasons...These are super-concentrated forms of Magnesium Chloride, a form of magnesium known for its superior solubility. Magnesium is absorbed through the skin in 30 minutes and can be washed off after a minimum of 30 minutes of someone doesn’t like the feel or look of it. It can leave a salty looking residue. Some people can have “allergic” type reactions to it, meaning they feel itchy or a little burny and I have really only seen this a handful of times, but apparently this is totally normal and either means that they person is extremely deficient or has very dry, sensitive skin that is reacting. My Dad had a horrible hive reaction on his back when he first tried it and after using it regularly this subsided... I also just learned that the magnesium oil can be taken internally in water... Here is the website if you would like to read more information. http://www.ancient-minerals.com/transdermal-magnesium/ Here is a video of Dr. Mark Sircus talking about Magnesium, specifically Ancient Minerals products and if you keep watching it will show numerous videos... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlAKz-uf1iw Tai
